recently evolved

Brad introduced me to to autocrossing this weekend at FedEx field. I had to compete in Super Stock (SS) class. My Carrera 4S against 6 Corvettes.  Competing is much to strong of a term for what I was able to do! My times weren’t great but I did have a great time. I have a lot learn about autocrossing and how to correctly use the performance capabilities of my car. Brad had a great first run but it was all down hill from there. He really shouldn’t have let some air out of his tires for the following runs. His car didn’t perform as well after that. Good lessons learned and we can’t wait to do our next autocross.

I volunteered at the Porsche Cup Races this Friday. Learned a lot talking to other volunteers. I helped at the scales. Porsche of Tysons Corner also allowed me to take one of the new Porsche Panamera sedans for a few laps around the track.
