Goby, Fire Shrimp, Pistol Shrimp and new Coral.

Added a goby and a pistol shrimp to the aquarium today. An amazing pair. Pistol shrimp does all the hard labor and the goby keeps a lookout for predators (for more details see “Pistol Shrimp and Gobies“). I can’t keep my eyes off them. Very entertaining.

After seeing my brother-in-law’s salt water aquarium I figured I’d give it a try. After purchasing a lot of equipment (tank, live rock and sand, filter, protein skimmer, heater, ..) and waiting a few weeks for the tank to cycle I can finally put in some creatures. Here’s some pictures.

I’ll continue to post more information about this hobby as I learn more.
