Apple OS X 10.7 Lion roars with futuristic, and maddening, upgrades
Upgrade was quick and painless! I’ve also noticed that you can now resize windows by grabbing any side of the windows. Not sure if that’s new to Lion but it’s new to me and a pleasure. On of my biggest complaints about OS X.

In This Sky, Planes Fly Alone – New York Times. I need to look into this more. Sound interesting since I’m interested in both technologies.
3G MicroCell
I took AT&T up on their offer of a free 3G MicroCell. The cell phone reception is ok but it could be improved so I figured I’d give it a try. Easy installation. I just plug it into a power outlet and an ethernet port on our router. After adding the telephone numbers I wanted to allow the MicCell to support our cell phones automatically recognized the MicroCell and worked flawlessly. I was on about 4 hours of calls yesterday and consistently had a clear signal and the calls never dropped. I placed it in a closet, not a recommended location, but I still get 4+ bar signal strength across most of the house.
